About Me

Thank you for visiting my profile page!  Here you can read about my background, education, experience, professional certifications and areas of concentration in my Real Estate practice.

If you enjoy reading blogs, please take a look at the many buyer and seller tips, so that you can learn how I like to work with my clients.

I am a full-time, local area Real Estate Agent.  I have extensive knowledge of the south bay area in general, as I have grown up here, living mostly in San Jose and Monte Sereno all of my life.  My local area is from south county to north of Palo Alto.

Growing up in Los Gatos, I attended Daves Avenue Elementary, Fisher Middle and Los Gatos High School.  I attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and have a BS in Industrial Technology.

After college, I worked at Hewlett Packard for fifteen years.  After HP, I my own business, Diverse Consulting and consulted in Hi-Tech for five years.   During the lull of the .com, I worked in the Los Gatos Union School District for three years at Daves Avenue School in Administration.  Along with the various changes in my professional career, I have had been challenged with other outside factors as well.  Health issues with both of my parents started to spiral at the same time, about 4 years ago.  My mom suffers from Alzheimer's and my father with Multiple Myeloma. Dealing with two sets of diverse care needs, I started the process of in-home care, then to assisted living and most recently to skilled nursing.  Moving them to these places, required some real solid estate planning.  Even though I am a trained Real Estate Professional and have some training in senior care management, I was not equipped or prepared to face so many decisions, nor was I prepared to cover so much unfamiliar ground.

In the past years, I have learned a lot about the importance for estate plans, short-term and long-term care, whether it be at home or in a community. I’ve come to realize that there is a reason for this journey and I decided that this is where I will do the most good; assisting seniors and their families in foreseeing  and engaging the best resources available, making timely and well-calculated decisions, while bridging solid, knowledgeable market and real estate awareness.

I can truly empathize with others who find themselves in these common situations.  Aging is a part of life and one that cannot be taken lightly for our loved ones.

I have been a member of the Senior Roundtable Chapter in San Jose for the past year. I have received my Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) Certification.
