In this transaction I represented the seller. The owner had lived in the home since 1963. She would be the second owner and I was to be her grateful neighbor. She raised three beautiful daughters in the home and was a single mom thru most of it. Josie's home was her sanctuary. She took meticulous care of the inside as well as the outside. Her passion was her garden and she spent endless hours taking great care of it, all year round. At the open houses, neighbors came in to see the home, but mainly to let me know how much they enjoyed watching her garden for hours in her front yard. You see she would change out annuals, like a stager does when trying to sell a home. She would find just the right annuals for spring, summer, fall and winter. If the perrenials that she planted last fall didn't do well thru the winter, she would rip them out and start over, creating just the right foliage and decorum for the front of her yard.
When it came to Christmas time, she out-did the surrounding homes with decorations. Her family and friends, came to know her as "Oma". When it came to giving presents, she was always so careful to chose the right gift for anyone she knew. Josie passed away this past September, 2015 and she will be sincerely missed by everyone!
